A flowering wall

Now that summer is almost over, I thought this would be the perfect time to share this quick decorating tip with you....(clearing my throat from the sarcasm)..... now come to think of it, this would look really cute with some fall colored flowers also...so, I guess you could say I'm posting this right on time :) Right? right....anyway...

These are actually tea light candle holders you hang on the wall. As you can see below in the far.far.corner I spruced them up a little bit.
I added some cute little daisies!
I wanted them to kinda jump out of the holder, but to keep them from jumping all.the.way out, I put some black river rock on top of the stem to hold them in, now they are snug as a bug in a ...well you get the point.
So, I definitely decided that I like flowers on my wall more than candles that may or may never be lit (more than likely never) and they definitely add more dimension.

  2. I just ended up falling upon your little creative blog. I was flipping through a home decorating magazine a few weeks ago while waiting in an airport and I found a small advertisement called Thrifty Chic Furniture. So when I remembered to search that website, I stumbled across your wonderful blog. I've pretty well read all your postings and love your creativity! I've already bookmarked your blog in my Mac. Thank you. Erin
