Fall Frame Wreath

This time of year between Halloween and Thanksgiving is always a weird transition for me. When do you start decorating for Christmas? I know houses around me already have their lights up and Christmas wreaths on the doors. I'd like to get into the Christmas season earlier so it would last a little longer, but I just can't ever bring myself to be one of the people who puts up their Christmas decor as they take down their Halloween stuff. So, instead, I like to think of Thanksgiving as a harvest (which it technically is) and that means pumpkins :) So, yes, my pumpkins will remain on my porch until Thanksgiving. That's the way it goes. That is if they don't rot first ;)
My Fall decor will of course remain up too. But I needed something a little new. My Fall wreath has remained pretty much the same trio of wreaths for years now, so I finally decided to change it up a bit and use a cute old frame I had lying around the house...which worked perfectly for this month's Repurpose Series :)  I wrapped it up with some jute and then added some old Fall decorations and some cut burlap.
Now I just need the weather to warm up a bit before I venture outside to take down all my Halloween stuff and put back up the Fall decor. So, until then, this little beauty will remain on my wall :) Which I think looks pretty cute there too.
