Model Home Monday {UV Parade of Homes #19}

I have to admit, I contemplated not showing you this house. From my memory, it was just horrible. Lots of patterns and reds. Just not my style. But, going through the pictures, it really doesn't look as bad as the walk through. It probably doesn't help that all I remember is the guest/hall bathroom :) So, here you go! Let me know what you think. This house is 5,367 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and a theatre room.

Living Room:
 Kitchen:

 Formal Dining:
 Eat in kitchen:
Guest/Hall Bathroom: (my words cannot express what I think about this)
 Master Bedroom:
 Master Bathroom:
 Guest bedroom:
 Guest bathroom:
 Guest bedroom:
 Guest bedroom:
 Basement living area:
Theatre (most favorite decor for theatre rooms yet!)
 Laundry:
 Outside:
So, what did you think? I think while walking through it, it was just a lot of color and pattern compacted into a small area; so, it was a bit overwhelming...even though it was 5300 square feet :)

  1. Well.....there are rooms that I like. All in all I agree with you, too much redness and pattern. But I must say: the wallpaper in the guest bathroom knocked me off. OMG. But to each his own, right?

    1. lol. This by far the most bold house I have yet to see. Usually they keep it somewhat neutral that most tastes would like. But zebras? hmmm... :)

  2. I have to agree with you. The decorating in this house is so bold, I can't focus on the structure. It would not make me inclined to purchase this house. I do like the more subdued bathroom with the champagne and pink/peach colors.

    1. I was thinking the same thing about that bathroom. I really like it. Definitely doesn't fit with the rest of the house, does it?

  4. Some nice design elements...if you can get past the decor/colors. Not one of my favorites, but we all don't have the same style/tastes so I'm sure this will appeal to someone.

  5. I am so glad to see the toilet seats are closed this time!

Though this is far from my favorite, I am certain the style will appeal to others.

    1. lol. I'm not sure I have ever noticed the seats being opened or closed for that matter :) I'll have to check next time I take pictures of bathrooms...far less appealing with them opened, for sure.

    1. As I said, those zebras were burnt into my mind and that's why I didn't like the house lol. All I kept remembering was zebras dancing across the bathroom. Talk about nightmares ;)
