Model Home Monday {The House of Blue}

Hey all! Super excited about this model home, not because of the decor, but the layout of this house was amazing ...and the master suite...my oh my :) Plus, this house was huge and had some beautiful features. But, as for the decor...if you like blue, you'll like this house :)

Here's the entry way. The curved balcony and the curved wall below is so beautiful, don't you think?

 The coffered ceilings in this front room are just amazing.

 Here's the dining room. It's actually pretty interesting that in a lot of the model homes that I went through, few had actual dedicated dining rooms so this was nice to see :)

 These kitchen cabinets make me question if I should stain mine instead of painting them. The only problem is that I have black granite, so I'm not so sure how that would look. I would die to have this light granite in my kitchen. Love it.

 Here's the eat in little dining room/nook. Not sure about those chairs lol

 I love this living room, mainly the built in bookcases and the fireplace.

 And who wouldn't love this bathroom? I need to find out where to get this wallpaper!!

 Okay. So, the master suite. It is seriously like 800 square feet total. It is huge and amazing. Here's the bedroom portion...loving this headboard.

 and the sitting room. To the right of that fireplace is a walk through to the bedroom, so that fireplace is double sided. This is like a small little room all on it's own. Would work great for a nursery too :)

 And the master bathroom. This is only like half of the bathroom, it's that big. Don't you love the wallpaper?

 Okay. So, let's start the oddness of the decor, shall we? :) This room decor has potential, but then add in the painters tape lines?? hmm.

 And for this bedroom, they did the same idea as the above room, but decided to change it up...so, it's a little bit more manageable, but still...

 This room actually works for me, the painters tape is now horizontal, and not such a statement like the other rooms.

 Now for the study/office. Nothing big here, I'm just showing you this because I need to find the curtains. I love them! I'm on the search for something similar....I may just need to make them :)

 And the basement. It has this huge game room and family area, along with a kitchenette, another bedroom and bathroom....along with the nice blue stripes too of course.

So, what did you think? Fan of all the blue?... like seriously no other accent color but blue. And the stripes on the walls? Love em or leave em?

I'm excited for the next few Model Home Mondays! The hubs bought me some Parade of Homes tickets for Mother's Day and we went this past week and saw sooo many amazing houses. Like seriously, some will blow your mind. So, hopefully starting next week, you'll get to see how the other half live :)
