Things in the works...

I guess I should finally tell you all what I've been working on over the past few months. It's a huge project; biggest one I've had to do yet :) And it will be one that will have the biggest impact on my life and that will probably change up my house immensely....
We're having a baby! We are beyond thrilled to be expecting a sweet little one. I'm due the latter part of December...and we are feverishly crossing our fingers for no Christmas baby. lol. I'm fine with the day before or after, just not sure about the actual day :) But all in all, we just want it to be healthy. So far, this pregnancy has been super easy, I don't know how I got so lucky. The worst part was the major bout of fatigue I experienced for a few weeks there at the beginning. The normal pregnancy fatigue mixed with my anemia was a little debilitating; but I can hardly complain about it since everything else has been nothing but wonderful (of course minus the few cramps and pains :) ) We still are pinching ourselves wondering if this whole thing is real and how in the world we got so blessed.

In the next coming months, you'll probably be seeing a little more posts on our upcoming nursery, so be prepared :) Of course I'm completely excited to start working on it, I have some board and batten going up now...now just for the paint colors :) We found out yesterday what we are having, but you'll have to wait until the big nursery reveal to find out :) unless I slip along the way, which may totally happen. Although you may get a few ideas of what it could be with some of my interim projects :)

I'll be back later today talking about a new addition to my dining room :) See ya soon!

xoxo

  17. Congratulations to you! My second was due Christmas Day (I managed to squeeze him out a bit early), so I know what you're feeling in that regard! Current little one is due late Sept/early Oct., and I have to say, a winter due date makes for a much more comfortable summer, so enjoy!

Have fun with all your preparations.
